Meet Dr. Joel Riggs (Thornton, CO)

Joel Riggs, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Indiana, School of Optometry in 2003 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Dr. Riggs has always been fascinated by science. While in college, Dr. Riggs met a group of classmates who were all aspiring medical, pharmacy, and optometry professionals during his Organic Chemistry class. He was inspired by their enthusiasm and commitment to pursue an optometry career. Today, Dr. Riggs is an accomplished optometrist with a deep-seated passion for addressing significant health issues.

In Dr. Riggs’ free time, he enjoys playing poker, watching sports, and traveling. He is an advocate for a healthy lifestyle and, as such, prioritizes daily workouts and a healthy diet.
